President - NANISX

Reporting to: Dr. Kingsley R. Chin, CEO, and Executive Council at KIC Ventures



Job Summary


NANISX is seeking a highly entrepreneurial, commercially driven, and execution-focused President to lead the next phase of growth, commercialization, and strategic expansion for the company. Reporting directly to Dr. Kingsley R. Chin, Founder and CEO of KIC Ventures, the President will be responsible for driving commercialization strategy, capital raising initiatives, strategic partnerships, physician adoption, and enterprise value creation across the NANISX portfolio of innovative spine and orthopedic technologies.


The ideal candidate is a proven commercial medical device executive, some familiarity with orthopedics/spine, with prior leadership experience as a Chief Commercial Officer, VP of Sales, President, COO, General Manager, or equivalent growth leadership role within a high-growth medical technology company. This role is designed for a leader who takes personal responsibility for driving revenue growth, commercialization execution, physician engagement, strategic partnerships, and building scalable commercial systems in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.

This is not a maintenance role. This is a leadership role focused on execution, accountability, growth, strategic positioning, and building market leadership.


This opportunity is ideal for a highly driven commercial leader seeking to evolve into a broader President-level leadership role with direct exposure to strategy, company building, strategic transactions, and long-term enterprise growth.



Key Responsibilities


Commercialization & Revenue Growth Leadership (40%)
• Lead all commercialization strategy and execution for NANISX technologies and product portfolio
• Drive physician adoption, customer acquisition, procedural growth, account expansion, and long-term customer retention
• Build and manage scalable commercial infrastructure including:

  • Sales leadership

  • Distributor relationships

  • Strategic channel partnerships

  • Key opinion leader (KOL) engagement

  • Account management systems
    • Manage the commercial funnel from physician targeting and surgeon education through procedural adoption and account growth
    • Develop and execute strategic MedEd and physician training initiatives to accelerate market adoption
    • Establish performance accountability systems, KPIs, forecasting discipline, and growth metrics across commercial activities
    • Build and lead high-performing commercial teams focused on execution, urgency, accountability, and customer success
    • Deliver premium customer service and relationship management to physicians, ambulatory surgery centers, and strategic accounts


Capital Raising & Strategic Partnerships (30%)


• Partner directly with the CEO in supporting growth capital raising initiatives, investor engagement, and strategic financing opportunities
• Assist in developing investor presentations, commercialization narratives, and strategic growth positioning
• Cultivate relationships with:

  • Strategic healthcare companies

  • Family offices

  • Growth investors

  • Venture capital and private equity firms

  • Distributors and commercialization partners
    • Identify and execute strategic partnership opportunities including:

  • Distribution relationships

  • Licensing opportunities

  • Joint ventures

  • Commercial partnerships

  • Strategic transactions
    • Help position NANISX for future strategic partnerships, acquisitions, or enterprise-scale growth opportunities


Operational Leadership & Company Building (20%)


• Help build operational infrastructure, systems, and processes to support scalable growth
• Partner cross-functionally across engineering, clinical, regulatory, manufacturing, and commercialization teams
• Recruit, develop, and mentor high-performing commercial and operational talent
• Support organizational scalability while maintaining entrepreneurial agility and execution discipline
• Help drive operational alignment between commercialization strategy, physician adoption, and financial performance


Leadership & Culture (10%)


• Foster a high-performance entrepreneurial culture focused on accountability, urgency, innovation, execution, and customer focus
• Represent NANISX and KIC Ventures at industry conferences, investor meetings, surgeon education events, and strategic partner discussions
• Serve as a trusted strategic and operational partner to the CEO
• Help establish NANISX as a recognized leader in outpatient spine innovation and procedural education



Required Qualifications


• 10+ years of leadership experience in medical devices, healthcare, spine, orthopedics, biologics, or high-growth healthcare companies
• Prior leadership experience as Chief Commercial Officer, VP Sales, President, COO, General Manager, or equivalent commercial growth leadership role
• Proven track record driving commercialization, physician adoption, revenue growth, strategic partnerships, and market expansion
• Experience building and managing commercial organizations, distributor networks, or strategic sales channels
• Demonstrated success leading sales organizations with accountability to revenue growth and performance metrics
• Strong understanding of surgeon engagement, physician education, and MedTech commercialization dynamics
• Demonstrated experience operating in entrepreneurial or growth-stage business environments
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive leadership capabilities
• Ability to operate effectively in a lean, fast-paced, founder-led environment



Preferred Qualifications


• Experience in spine, orthopedic, biologics, regenerative medicine, or surgical technologies strongly preferred
• Experience supporting capital raising initiatives, investor engagement, or strategic transactions
• Existing relationships within orthopedic/spine surgeon, distributor, ASC, or strategic MedTech ecosystems
• Experience working within venture-backed, founder-led, or private equity-backed organizations
• Experience supporting acquisitions, licensing transactions, or strategic exits
• MBA or advanced business degree preferred
