Mentorship Program
Empowering Future Leaders
KIC Ventures Mentorship Program
Program Overview
Founded by Dr. Kingsley R. Chin during his tenure as Chief of Spine Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania in 2005, the KIC Ventures & Dr. Kingsley R. Chin Mentorship Program has a strong history of nurturing future leaders. Participants have advanced to prestigious universities in the US and the UK, while medical graduates from the University of the West Indies gain valuable internships in Florida.
In partnership with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), we admit mechanical engineering students into our mentorship program, further enhancing the reach and quality of leadership development. Additionally, our collaboration with Northeastern University’s Co-op Program offers students hands-on experience, often leading to employment at KIC Ventures. The mentorship spans from high school to graduate school, engaging participants in clinical spine surgery, technological innovation, research, commercialization, marketing, and finance. Many co-author research publications and present their work to KIC Ventures' Chief Technology Officer, Vito Lore.
