Junior Graphic Designer

Position Overview

KICVentures has a Temp to Perm position for an entry level graphic designer to join the KICCreativity Team. Candidate must be highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with other software packages is a plus. Candidate must also have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. The Junior Graphic designer will report directly to the Creative Director.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Work within the Engineering team in creating and maintaining graphic print

    • material for applications such as:

      • Sales and marketing packages (brochures, sales sheets, product announcements, surgical techniques, product release, labeling)

      • Product and medical instructional publications.

  • Ensure all work, both creative and technical, are reviewed for accuracy before production


  • An Associate’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent.

  • 1-2 years of experience in a graphic design environment.

  • Experience in print and digital media.

  • Strong verbal and written communication, well-developed organizational skills, a discerning attention to detail.

  • Impeccable writing skills (grammar and composition) a must.

  • Strong creative skills in layout, typography, composition and color are a must.

  • Proficiency in the following software applications required:

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), in-depth knowledge of InDesign, good proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator are a must.

  • Good Microsoft PowerPoint experience is a must.

  • The ability to create clear and compelling presentations.

  • The ability to work in an extremely fast paced and dynamic environment.

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Multi-tasking capabilities.

  • Must have good etiquette as well as polished presentation and public interaction skills.

  • Must tolerate images and footage of orthopedic surgeries and cadaver labs.

Working conditions

  • Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.  Travel up to 10%.

Physical requirements

  • Must be able to read, write and communicate fluently in English.
