Associate Sales Representative, Dallas

This unique Spine Device sales position offers the right candidate uncapped commissions and earnings potential.  You will be selling products that are innovative and impactful on patient care.  The Associate Sales Representative position is ideal for seasoned Sales Representative.

General responsibilities

  • Provide OR case coverage including set servicing, product set-up, inventory control and sales order creation for all assigned surgeons in territory

  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with surgeon accounts, hospitals, vendors, and other value-adding [or revenue-adding] partners to drive SpineFrontier product penetration, increase revenue and expand partnerships;

  • Obtain local hospital approval for all SpineFrontier products;

  • Constant communication with primary surgeon and hospital staff on case schedules and availability for occasional on-call emergency requests support;

  • Effective and timely communication to SpineFrontier on case schedules, product needs and feedback from surgeries

  • Submission of all required paperwork to hospitals for purchase orders;

  • Accurate management of inventory in the field including completion of quarterly physical inventory counts and corresponding reports.

  • Represent company at meetings, tradeshows, seminars, and workshops as requested.

  • Expected to prospect new surgeon accounts nationally as needed on non-surgery days.

  • Assist primary surgeon(s) with research data collection, practice branding and presentations

  • Provide reporting to management as requested.

Specific Responsibilities

  • High level of personalized Surgeon service always maintaining strong relationships with Surgeon and hospital staff.

  • Execute on sales plan to drive significant sales growth through Surgeon acquisition; by Identifying prospective surgeons to introduce SpineFrontier technology and company value proposition.

Required competencies

  • Must be able to read, write and communicate fluently in English.

  • The employee in this position often communicates with employees and vendors who have inquiries, therefore must be able to read, write and communicate to exchange correct information in these situations.

The successful candidate will be required to possess

  • Clinical experience; at least 2 years of experience working in spine;

  • Experience in MIS and/ or complex spine with emphasis in Orthopedic / Neuro Surgery and applications.

  • Understanding of human anatomy & physiology and medical terminology.

  • Strong & positive relationships with orthopedic surgeons and/or surgery personal.

  • Ability to go into surgery room and support surgeon during long and complex surgeries.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record is mandatory

Physical requirements

  • Position routinely requires filing, which will require opening file cabinet drawers, being able to bend for file placement.

  • The position often needs to move objects from one place to another periodically lifting up to 20 lbs.

  • Must be able to carry literature bag (min.15lbs) and sample instrument kit (min. 20lbs) to bring to customers.

  • Employee must have the visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.

  • The employee is required to have close visual acuity to inspect product performance, analyze data and numbers, and view a computer terminal;

  • The employee is required to read extensively at a distance that is close to the eyes.

  • When traveling the employee may be required to stand for extended periods of time in an operating room environment.

  • This employee is required to sit for extended periods of time using a computer keyboard and monitor.

  • The employee must be able to travel overnight as needed or required

  • This position operates in a clerical setting and routinely uses standard equipment, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets etc.

  • Employee may be required to travel.
