About the Role

The Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for managing the pre-employment part of the recruitment process. As part of the human resource team, the Recruiting Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring that we hire qualified talent, and achieve a solid workforce that adds to the KIC family of Companies bottom line.

What you’ll do

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Partners-up with managers to determine staff requirements and department’s objectives
  • Creates and advertises job openings on company’s career page, social media, and job boards
  • Recruits top talent through various methods from advertising, job sites, and career fairs
  • Works with the Creative team to improve and upkeep the company website recruiting section
  • Reviews potential candidates to evaluate if they meet the position requirements
  • Schedules and conducts in-person and phone interviews with candidates
  • Provides recommendations of qualified candidates to hiring managers
  • Sets-up interview between the candidates and the hiring manager and other team members
  • Maintains relationships with internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved
  • Helps the hiring managers with recruiting procedures and interview questions
  • Develops a pool of internal and external of qualifying candidate’s profiles
  • Manages all candidates’ communication (interview confirmations, interview agendas)
  • Manages ongoing candidate engagement activities including phone calls, emails and mail outs
  • Facilitates the pre-employment process (clinical, drug and background screenings)
  • Extends offers of employment to prospect candidates
  • Weekly reports to management the recruiting progress and employment activity
  • In accordance with guidance by HR Director and Legal when needed, ensure regulatory aspects of recruitment is in compliant with federal and state laws.
  • Participates in job fairs, career networking events and host in-house recruitment events
  • Candidates sourcing and generation; using our internal database and external platforms such as LinkedIn
  • Adhoc administrative HR duties

Our Perfect Candidate

Education and Experience

  • Associate Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or relevant field
  • 2+ years of human resources corporate recruiting experience
  • Solid knowledge of HR policies and best practices
  • Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork
  • General knowledge of current employment laws and practices
  • Must be confident in speaking over the phone

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve practical problems
  • Expertise in analysis, critical decision making, and process improvement
  • Problem-solving, critical-thinking skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline
  • Strong ability to manage a heavy workload and complete multiple priorities
  • Strong and proven customer service and organizational skills
  • Comfortable in using technology such as computers and web based programs to optimize candidate experience by including webinars and teleconference when appropriate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
